It saddens me to see that a football club with such a long tradition is in the dire straits that it now finds itself.
To be locked out of your own ground, at the whim of a landlord who just wants to sell the site for personal profit is disgraceful, and is nothing short of morally distasteful.
Mr Gilchrist has shown his true colours by bringing this club to the brink of extinction.
WELL, Mr Gilchrist let me inform you of a true fact, you will NOT succeed.
Skelmersdale United FC will survive your childish and unprofessional antics. I have spoken to very many people over your actions, and I can assure you, you do NOT come out of their discussions with any kind of glory. Remember, you are a businessman running your failing business in Southport, and these activities of yours can only show the general public at large your true colours.
Skelmersdale United will survive and be around long after you are gone, much as they were long before you came into this world. I hope beyond all hope that the supporters of all the league clubs with which we are connected see you for what you are.
Let's see you show your face at Grounds where Burscough are playing, or will you hide behind the the cloak of anonimity like any person who is scared to face their accusers.
Perhaps you, Mr Gilchrist, would care to explain the understated Legal Charge and Mortgages on Chequer Properties. I guess Mr and Mrs Mansour would like an explanation as well
