We were all there, wife, daughter and both sons. The food was excellent, the price reasonable.
Miller and Carter realy do give an excellent service, the only thing they cant sontrol is the periferal company.
20 minutes into our evening, who should turn up but Martin Gilchrist and a previous Chairman of Burscough (who looked decidedly off colour, but then he has been very ill in recent years.
It was obvious that Skelmersdale United was the main topic of their discussion (I was on an adjacent table) and I heard snippets of their discussion.
Dave Sutton joined them some 15 minutes later, and luckily I was totally unknown to them.
Worry not Skelmersdale, you are well protected from this trio of shysters.
