Gavin Salmon has added his second to give Salford a two nil lead after twenty two minutes but Skem replied almost immediately with a goal by Aaron Bowen on twenty four.

Martin Crowder has replaced Kenny Strickland at half-time and Tony Rendell has reduced the arrears after fifty one minutes. I understand that the crowd is fairly poor no doubt due to United and City matches being televised.
