I’m considering not travelling while we are playing like we are at the moment!!!
I think the money I would spend travelling with Skem would be better spent on getting the kids Xmas presents!!!
I will still go to home game as I don't mind putting my money back into my own club,just don't see why I should put it into other clubs & British Petrol while watching sh*te football!!!
don't get me wrong I’m not being a sore loser here,,,losing I can take but watching well below par football i can't take,,,i might as well watch Sunday league instead!!!
sorry skem men i have better stuff to spend MY MONEY on!!!

got to disagree with you there owd...............
think the players in question took far more than a certain section of our supporters gave them
whilst i think it is hard to watch what we are watching at the moment
i dont think it will get any better whilst our own fans are abusing our own players
lets not forget burkey as been tremendous for us
and tony rendell is without doubt a top class player and it was him who (in my opinion) got us 3 points away at farsley with what can only be described as an awesome display and indeed it was burkey who engineered the winner in the same game (with 10 men)
and who got the equaliser at home the other night
yes agree it needs to get better fast but saturday was wrong
and the bangers have been guilty of slagging players off in the past but in a different way

I'm not singling anyone out but discipline needs addressing
At Skem we should not be doing what is happening silly bookings for decent are not acceptable
Other problems are there that are football related and can be sorted but decent isn't good to see

Does not surprise me ,didnot enjoy watchin that myself .But i still will go not like the glory hunters droppin out like flys.Only my opinion its better than the old days ie north west counties .

Does not surprise me ,didnot enjoy watchin that myself .But i still will go not like the glory hunters droppin out like flys.Only my opinion its better than the old days ie north west counties . are you suggesting that i'm a glory hunter Fabio,because if you are you are suggesting the wrong person here!!! 6 seasons home & away,cup games & even friendlies & travelled thousands of mile to do that,,, probably missed 3 games in all that time,,,even a tattoo ta-boot!!! i wish i discovered S.U.F.C earlier than i did but you've got to start somewhere & my god i hope i don't start sounding like some of you golden oldies in 30-40 years time!!! this is probably why we don't get any newer younger fans in to watch skem "BECAUSE THEY NO NOTHING",,,,i was an avid Liverpool supporter before Skem caught my eye,but i didn't see or hear 50-60-70 year old Liverpool fans telling me i was a glory hunter,because when i started supporting Liverpool there was nothing left to glory hunt,,,but i still paid good money after good to watch them!!! but i was young free & single then,,,now i'm on a ball & chain with 4 kids to support as well,,,so if i don't think i'm getting value for money, something has to give!!! Skem have been worth every penny i've spent to watch them,better value than paying the £60 £70 it cost me to watch Liverpool at home,but to watch Skem at this moment in time,there's no value in travelling with them for me!!! let me put it this way,,,i travel with Skem not to put money into other club & petrol stations but because i know i will be treated to a cracking game of footy"WIN LOSS OR DRAW" but i'm not getting that has it stands,so whats the point in travelling!!! i can still just afford it, but i'm not stupid with my money ether!!! sorry but thats the way i feel at the moment!!! but "UNITED WE STAND" |

i didnt see the incident saturday involving the fans an burkey an tony rendell, but shouting your a disgrace to the club an your not worthy to wear the shirt!!! whats that meant to do for the lads confidence?? burkey as been there a lot longer than me an he is a leader on an off the pitch, a great lad to play with aswell. plus tony ive played with an against an he is possibly the best centre half ive faced an played with!! he is strong on the floor an in the air an is fast aswell, never shirks a tackle an gives 100% every game an thats the appreciation he gets?? you as the fans are entitled to be disappointed when we get beat or are playing badly as you pay out of your own back pocket an put some miles in following us but shouting that is not helping!! everybody needs to be more positive an pull together as one from the fans, the management team an players. yes results havent been acceptable an we hate losing as much as you do!! after all were 2nd in the league, i could understand it if we were fighting relegation but dont agree with the abuse towards the lads. warrington away saturday massive game an hopefully we can get the win we need to get us going again!!

I am shocked at reading this thread ,as most skem supporters would have been shouting heads up for the next match and not giving verbal abuse to the players ,like tucker9 says were 2nd in the league not near the bottom .We have been treated to some very good football not justed in this league but even when we were in the league below,so please get behind every player from now on.

Each supporter is entitled to their own opinions one of mine is not to take in all away games is that a crime? Then I am guilty. However as one who pays up front for home games I would rather be disappointed with a result and only have to travel a short distance so as not to be an angry driver

Tucker,,,the S/B's wasn't happy with the abuse given ether by the supporters!!!
but i'm lead to believe that the one supporter that was giving most of the abuse was a family member of the committee who has probably watched Skem twice in as many years & the only reason he was there that day was because he lives that way!!!
but because he was a committee members family nothing will be said about it will it!!!!
As for traveling, i will be watching the billy's midweek so this threat of not traveling won't last long!!!

its good of tucker09 to come on here and explain, sure the players are hurting as are the supporters and no doubt Tommy will be hurting the most,
we are still second in the league and everychance of a good finish, just get behind the players
the players however should not stoop so low as to have a go back, respect for the supporters
years ago the side where constantly getting beat and a supporter made detrimental comments aimed at the nearby players
The players reply
"Sorry, were doing our best but nothings coming off at the moment"
respect was then granted to the player in question and the whole team, the said supporter never stopped shouting encouragement afterwards
we need to encourage the players, the players need to encourage us..the supporters
respect both ways

agree with you there Kev,,,maybe that’s what’s needed,a player to explain things every now an again!!!
i do have the luxury of talking to Tommy at is van,so i do get an insight of what's going on,but the problem with that, Tommy will NOT have anything said against the club or players,so i get shoot down when i start talking negative "& MY GOD TOMMY'S GOOD AT THAT" he shuts me up straight away!!!
so yes it's nice to hear a players point of view from time to time!!!

Thats what i like to see, loads of positive replies!! an standbangers i heard you fought the lads corners (nice touch that, appreciated!!). a win is around the corner an if we get on a run like last year then who knows what might happen come the end of the season!!!!!!! if the odd person wants to shout abuse then carry on if it makes you happy, but proper fans who love the club an follow us week in week out will stick by us because they know what were capable off once we get going. my last game saturday aswell before a ban (dont know how many games yet, but will very soon!!) still not happy about it as i dont think it was a red card plus the ref said he didnt see it an he was 10 yards away!! so whatever the linesman saw id love to know because he saw the woodley players shouting an bottled it!! plus the same linesman saw nothing when there player went over the top on robbie mac an he had to go off!! the lad i fouled got a touch of magic sponge an carried on haha pathetic!! so hopefully a win saturday an sign off with a couple of goals should restore a few smiles all round, but id just take a win as im not that fussy!! ''LETS HAVE IT''..............

(we always blame tham etc..)

yes it got confirmed last night by tommy its a 3 game ban, nothing i can do now about it an just cant wait til its served an i can get going again!!! 1 game to be played still before i do an i will be running myself in2 the ground to get us the three points we need. time for everyone to stand up an be counted, no more excuses!! see you all there............
