VOLUNTEERS
A big thank you goes out to those hardy souls who put so much effort in getting the games on, our ground staff. Peter McGee, Tony Brown, Bill Molyneux and the willing hands of Stuey, Les, George and Dave. amongst other. Without whom there would be NO FOOTBALL, a big hats of to you lads. I was there helping during the xmas break and there is nothing more disheartening than spending two days getting a pitch fit only for torrential rain to undue all your efforts, and the catastrophe of Boxing day, well, the lads have worked miracles and still are. We are always looking for volunteers who can help out So if YOU know anyone who has some spare time and would like to get involved then see Peter Mc or any member of the committee, Its your club
Also anybody who can do any work round the ground during the summer months, (When it arrives!!) then I will be painting the Main Stand and doing other odds jobs on Saturday mornings, If your interested then look out for my posts on Facebook and the Club sites
EASYFUNDRAISING
It is what it says, I know I have been going on about this for a while now but it is really one of the simplest ways to raise funds for the club without putting your hands in your pockets.
If you order anything on line then this is for you,
We have raised about £90 so far, which is way less than many clubs on this scheme, some have gone as far as £7,000 which is an awful lot of money.
I recently changed energy suppliers through U Switch and raised £15 for the club.
Just register with easyfundraising at //www.easyfundraising.org.uk/register
and follow these simple instructions at www.easyfundraising.org.uk/how-it-works/
You know it makes sense
Thanks for taking the time out to read
Your support is much appreciated
Cheers Kev
PS I am looking for YOU the supporters for next seasons Match Day programme, to compile your Top 5 players of all time and your reasons why, You maybe a new supporter or one of long standing, it doesnt matter its up to you. please send your Top5 to kevpanther@btinternet.com or again post in the club Forum.
