Can one of the season ticket supporters attending, find out how much we got for Tony Donaldson from championship club Doncaster rovers as it was my understanding kaka was the only player before departing, that was on contract with the club, this would generally mean a fee was involved for the player. If there is no fee, find out why and who negotiated the move.i speak for the many others who prefer to stay quiet, would like to think a well off club like Doncaster could have helped the club, with the planned new stand structure (around £18,000 )and a secure fence behind the goal (£6000),with a poultry £24,000. Definitely a potential bargain price if the move works and a justified cheap gamble, considering prices for young English talent these days. Remember this is a fan site. Questions like this should be answered early or people reminded that a deal is yet to happen until the transfer window opens,at least then a quick answer is given to those speculating.

A very good question. There is hardly any information on this site could this also be addressed. One last question why is the meeting not open to all those who go stormy corner...

Fred
The meeting is the AGM
It is for Members- which include current Committee/Directors and Season Ticket Holders only (Thus becoming a Member)
This is in compliance with Companies House
The Tony Donaldson question- I think and I may not be right on this but my nderstanding is Tony didnt sign a contract at the beginning of this season I shall ask at the meeting

Thank you kev,it is refreshing that someone on the committee like yourself, and fans like Fred are concerned, other clubs in the region even at the lower league spectrum to Skelmersdale make something off each deal, and openly tell the interested parties the benefits of the transfer,to that club.indeed Skelmersdale themselves openly trade on the number of players moving on to bigger clubs when seeking young footballers.. It is becoming a continual question around the ground when a player moves up the leagues, why Skem only seem to get a two bob friendly with a reserve side at the earliest part of pre season when most people are still on holiday! and the players are just getting back into it themselves, meaning more often than not,a dull encounter that hardly gets people excited (making all but a few pounds)and why with all this movement, the much needed improvements to the ground have still not been achieved. Now if the board says the deal is an undisclosed fee then FAIR ENOUGH, but give a little something to the clubs fans, season ticket holders or not,by telling us there is a 10% future transfer fee on the player or tell us a bit of cash available will be used on something positive the clubs home venue desperately needs as an improvement on the current status quo for example, instead of burying heads in the sand and hoping no one notices or asks any questions.I have looked through various threads on this site and found the one on Josh Hines transfer in 2013 to Warrington town, were the question of information about Skem seemed at the time to be coming from other clubs and sources, concerns were raised then and we were in a championship winning season.i myself was blasted last year for posting about Dominic Marie coming to the club on a 7 day notice...3 and a half hours after bootle fc had posted it on twitter and Facebook to an audience of 3 thousand plus around the local area and told, with a slapped wrist,My post could of ... ALERTED OTHER CLUBS to the players movement and took him up themselves.i don't need to say anymore, except other clubs and league social media, and the external internet sources make information about the club easy to access, but it would be a whole lot better if the news was delivered on our site by our people . Finally I could name 3 people who called skems current plight financially and on the field, in early august,(this could have been damn good guesswork but I doubt it) which to me was strange, considering the board at the club love to keep secrets away from those who come through the turnstiles.so obviously my conclusion is the clubs information is known around the local football circles by every man his wife even his cats and dogs!! , the fan who pays at the gate, buys the club wares, sponsors one of the many various things at the club,is asked to cough up for this and that,is left out in the cold, and I'll bet ,no I know, there are people who give their heart and soul for the club and are proud to back it, who have been embarrassed by someone who has proved them wrong about their club!! because despite NOT GIVING A DAMN about the club, they have friends in the know. This is utterly wrong in my opinion but not surprising as most of our secretive board (voted in by the season ticket holders and members!)have remained the same as the one in 2013 mentioned above and have also managed to retain a position after the Lloyd fiasco. It seems that the Skem board permanently have the begging bowls out, laughing at the people who put their hands in their pockets, while keeping club information back from these loyal supporters which is In my opinion,is simply dishonest, club information should now be addressed and the issue finally put to rest so we can back the club with a greater passion and understanding of where it wants to go,not trying to double guess those with the same passion.

I would just like to say there is many good things and people at the club, and some of the challenges they face and conquer are very impressive.if someone looking from the outside in,thinks it is a club at war, then I'm sorry my friend to disappoint you. I come on this site with the terrace annoyances, and more often than not see the improvements that get made.for me opening up and getting to grips with the grievances,is the ideal...that every club should tackle head on.i personally stay behind at the home games I'm honoured to attend, and can always be approached by anybody, who agrees and disagrees with my points made.equally the same applies to anybody who sees me around the ground.i also spread the word about this clubs plight and achievements everywhere I go.the football world is changing at this level, and I personally along with many others will not let this club fall behind these new enterprises. Under no circumstances will I support a board that applies for the NWCL half way through an evo stick campaign like other clubs in this region (a very strong source).i am a believer like many that this club will come good and has a strong future.
