ATTENTION EVERTON & LIVERPOOL
The weekend will see most Everton and Liverpool supporters with a blank Saturday as they await the Merseyside derby on Monday night, why not spend the afternoon supporting your local club, Skelmersdale United?
Skelmersdale are at home to top of the league Rushall Olympic at the Uretek Stadium (Stormy Corner), kick off 3pm. Just to encourage followers of the big two if you bring along your season ticket you can come in for £5, a great alternative to going shopping.
Skelmersdale will welcome back striker Max Hazeldine from a two game suspension and after the way they pushed Rushall so close on their trip down to play the midland club in early November Skem are entitled to have high hopes indeed of a victory.
Fitness wise, Skelmersdale report a clean bill of health after they did Rushall a favour last Saturday by drawing 0-0 away at second placed Buxton, in a game Skem came very close to winning, a game that saw Tommy Lawson’s men far from on the back foot all day.
Remember with the Local PREMIER LEAGUE CLUBS all away from home on SATURDAY
Supporters of those clubs or any club for that matter can gain access for just £5
WHEN THEY PRODUCE A VALID SEASON TICKET
If you making plans for Christmas and are looking to escape from the house, Skelmersdale are scheduled to have three games over the festive period. Starting with a derby game at Marine on Boxing Day 3pm, on Thursday 29th December Matlock Town make the trip to the Uretek Stadium for a 7-45pm kick off and on New Year Bank Holiday Monday Ashton United visit Skem for a 3pm kick off.
