It comes as no surprise , Chequer Properties have a history of this sort of thing. A club with t5he history of Skem Utd should never have been put in this position.

If ever there was a time to move forward, get everything out in the open, inviting all that have spoken up and shown a passion it's NOW. The owners of cheq to be represented as well so we finally get to hear their prospective.(if they have the nerve to show up and not hide like little girls blouses behind their website). This club won't die,it'll simply evolve, starting from scratch, if Runcorn linnets could do it with less support than our own, then what have we got to lose.this generation of supporters owes it to the next to fight on and rebuild the club, and the club should be looking at legal action against cheq and outing this nonsense entity and its owners for having a hand in two clubs within the FA structure (against the rules)and grinding both down to oblivion, once and for all. the loss of earnings at skem next season is Hugh as is the many contracts they can not now honour, not to mention the damaging of a future new clubs stature being evolved from an entity that yet again hit the heights,FA trophy run northern league 1 championship etc and then found itself hitting rock bottom(remind you of another successful period in the past!) as the song goes "it's all just a little bit of history repeating" For once I don't criticise the board,if skem are kicked out of the league as expected with a known two budget squad cut and failing to prepare with the long term threat of cheq kicking them off the ground then it is history and all the twisted tales that go with it that will judge them. This is the shitty end of running a club, the cup and league wins mean absolutely nothing right now, if your connected to skem. as far as they should be concerned it's the marine managers highlights and the many fantastic ex players that take that joy with them to their new places of play, the supporters of this club left in the proverbial s@ t yet again as is the norm. as for cheq, time to stand up and be counted boys, you are the only people in Skelmersdale burscough and ormskirk who can not see the common hatred from what is now bordering on many hundreds of people who live in the local area if not thousands, this cowardly move knowing skelmersdale had no time to work a plan b is a new low against your already locally bad name.do everyone a favour and get lost out of local sport, never has a local buisness been so dispised as this one. Take the hint. QUIETLY IT EVOLVES!

To me kev a blessing in disguise, cheq properties can now once and for all be eternally f@@ked off from any involvement in this club, and carry on losing money in a fight with the burscough supporters club (one everyone knows they will not win). The sad fact is both those entities are small fry in comparison with the potential of skem Utd, it's time please to seek a new home in the centre of the new town so it's accessible to all, that should be the new objective from the "board"
