Hi guys , yes its me again Kevilsonlad .
Well we have football club in Ilkeston which of course we are delighted to have although was a surprise who bought the club. I say bought the club in was really paying off debts of which there was many including the local council . Who bought it ? Well the new owner is the Notts County owner Alan Hardy to which we were told by himself that he had only three days to make a decision . WOW three days to say yes or no to a three figure sum to pay the liquidators !!! Thanks to him we have a football club but of course at a cost , we are now in the Midland Football League div 1 ( step 7 ?) .

The club appointed the old Forest legend Steve Chettle as manager which we are really happy about but he had only a few weeks to get a team together . The ground has had a bit of a spruce up which it badly needed with a lick of paint . But the massive difference at the club has to be the pitch , it looks amazing , Alan Hardy has had the groundsman down there from Notts. A lot fans have come back to watch where we have got crowds in our first three homes over 450.
won 2 drawn 2 lost 2 , so not bad so far . I`ve been to four of the six games so far and best game I saw was the loss at Stafford Town where we had at 25 YES ! 25 chances to win the game it was that one sided but we lost 2-1 .........
Anyway guys the less about Ilkeston, I see your 15th ? whats your verdict so far although you've only played four games .
Where are you playing now ? Will you get your own ground again ?
Are the same daft lads going to the games who I loved talking too and having a banter with ?
will be great to hear from guys again
