Skelmersdale United will come up against a number of former players when they make the trip to the Halton Stadium this Saturday 16th March.
Managed by former United players Kev Towey and Steve Akrigg, they will also have in their ranks United legend Phil Mooney, Shaun Holden, Micheal Grogan, Ben Hodkinson and Mike Burke.
Paul McNally will have been disapointed with Saturdays game at Colne called off because of the weather, after his side made their first home win of the season against Kendal, "I would like to think we would have gained a bit of momentum for the game after the lads worked tirelessly in midweek, it would have been a hard task to come away with 3 points but you never know"
Saturday's game should be in no danger of falling foul of the weather, Windnes play on the artificial pitch, as used by Widnes Vikings Rugby League side.
DIRECTIONS TO WIDNES
From the North via M62
Take Junction 7 and then A568 dual carriageway towards Widnes following brown signs to Halton Stadium.Take Ashley Way (A562) and 2nd exit off roundabout (McDonald's on the right) and 2nd exit off mini-roundabout into Lowerhouse Lane.
From South Liverpool
Take Speke Road (A562) and follow signs for Widnes (A562). Continue following brown signs to Halton Stadium.Take 1st exit off next roundabout (McDonald's on the right) and 2nd exit off mini-roundabout into Lowerhouse Lane.
Matchday Information
Only the South Stand (main stand, adjacent to car park) is open on a matchday and all supporters must enter via turnstiles SE1 and SE2
Dogs are not allowed in the facility except assistance dogs
Supporters cannot gain re-entry if they choose to leave the facility after gaining admission
Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) anywhere in the stadium is forbidden
Alcohol must be consumed on the concourse area and cannot be taken out into the stand
Plenty of free car parking is available on the adjacent stadium car park
All supporters when visiting the Select Security Stadium will be seated within the South Stand.
Admission prices are as follows:
Adults: £7
Concessions: £3
Under 16s: FREE

To qualify for the Concession rate, you must be aged 65 years and over or a full-time student aged 16 years and over. Proof of ID will be required.
Entrance To Stadium:
All players, staff, officials and supporters must enter through the Fitness Reception situated near the car park exit. Widnes Football Club will have a club official at the reception desk for admission.
All attendees will receive an entrance card as proof of payment which must be returned to the stewards when entering the stadium and taking your seat.
