I see from Peters post that we passed ground grading with flying colours.
But the NLP reports that the ground was not up to standard for Northwich Vics to groundshare.
Is this right, if so what was wrong and would it affect us or prevent us going up if we were promoted

There is nothing wrong at this moment, because we only require a grade "D" in Division One North, but all Premier League clubs require a "C" grading.
Therefore if we should be promoted we are allowed 12 months "Grace" to implement the required changes, whilst we go about winning the Premier League Title !!
The changes required would entail building a Toilet block pitchside, with more covered terrace / standing / seating areas, around the Stadium, not a lot !! but with willing volunteers
and effort from everyone, we would achieve our goal !!
As an example, it we had a replica of our Main Stand, on the other side of the ground, we would be granted a Grade "C" with no problems at all !!

All I can see it as the FA creating jobsworths, most clubs in this division and even those a division above get less than a few hundred, it is only when the so called big teams visit that the attendances rise.
For clubs to provide the amenities for probably one or to games is just, lets say "Plain daft".
How many does the Main stand hold, 250?, I have never seen it even half full. So why would we and other clubs want to spend money that we/other clubs have not got, on something that is not needed.
Why was we also told to put a fence round the grass verging. Surely a disclaimer stating that stand on here at your own risk. I think every sensible person knows that if its wet/snowy/covered in ice, there will be a risk of the area being a "Bit slippy".
We are catering for the minority who are unaware of what rain and cold does to grass !!!
Congratulations to Peter and the team for overcoming the profound stupidity of the FA, but what more can we expect from the idiotic blazer brigade.
