having a conversation last night & the subject of "wouldn't it be nice to see skem utd on tv highlight show's every week"came up!!!
which got me thinking,Arrrr NO non-league footy will do me,WHY because it would spoil the friendly family club we have now,IMHO i think we still watch the same standard of football but in a relaxed atmosphere & going into league would spoil that!!!
so NO non-league i'm happy with!!!
& yes i know we are a far cry away from league status but what's your views???

The further up the ladder you go the more detached you become from those running the club,at the moment you can go up to any committee member and have a chat or whatever.

Your right in saying we have a family friendly club s/b 2 but have to disagree with Nev's comments. The level our club is at i do not think will change the way the management will treat the fans!! After all it is the support that keeps the club ticking along!! Answer to your question Chris, personally i would love for Tommy to get us to the blue square north & see how we do cos I'm convinced when!! (not if) we get out of this division we will progress.

Not RRRRS'd either way as long as Skem Utd don't "buy it"
I'm proud to say Skem are value for their money

I can't ever see Skem getting the level of support necessary to survive in any league higher than the Northern Premier. It would be nice to think otherwise but too many people are too idle to get their arses out of the alehouse or the bookies on Saturday afternoon's.
