Er, we were going to play at Shildon but are now playing at Bishop Auckland.
We were put in the Northern League by the FA, though we are appealing that decision. The NL is the same step as the NECL, are you simply getting mixed up?
Can see no reason whatsoever why we'd be shunted sideways into the NCEL?

Welcome Quakerz.
I was hoping that one day Skem would have the pleasure of playing Darlo, preferably on United's rise up the football league ladder rather than Dalo's demise. Spent many a happy weekend up at the best football stadia this country has to offer, Feethams. A place all football lovers should have visited at least once in their lifetime, sadly no more !
Enjoyed a Pre match pint or two in the Speedwell/Primo's, Grampian and a night round town, or jumped the train to Newcastle. Met many friends from up that part of the world. Steve Tupling in a pub in Leyburn "You must be Kev". Archie Stephens, Johnny Borthwick, Dougal McCarrison, Steve Mardenborough the names the memories, the success and the failures. A 5-0 hammering at Scarbrough when the team was given a standing ovation as they left the pitch, far the better side on the day, Gary Coatsworth's "looping back header", a rainy night at Canal Street and the coldest night I have ever known at Preston in the Freight Rover Trophy or something, there was about six in he away end.
Lets just hope that the appeal is successful, Chester got away with it, and that at The Skelmersdale and Ormskirk College Stadium I can wear my blue scarf as well as my black and white one. Divided loyalties, ....you bet !!!!!!!!!!

Me personnally i wouldn't mind if Darlington came into D1N, Skem have a decent record against the big clubs that have ended up in this league over the last few seasons (all for different reasons)
Bring it on,be a good away day for both sets of fans.

I'm just trying to work out whether you actually think we are going into the NCEL because you've heard it or simply because you don't know our equivalent is the NL, which we were placed in weeks ago.
