You are not dreaming Standbanger - Burscough play Cammell Laird at Victoria Park next Tuesday 18 October in the Liverpool Senior Cup. The winners will be at home to Tranmere Rovers.

After two visits to the Hospital this week, I now know what my back problem is !! I have torn a ligament which is attached from the base of the spine, to the hip bone, that's all I need !! five or six weeks to recover, rest is the only cure !! my days of lifting anything down at the Ground are over, believe me !! it has taught me a lesson big time !! there are plenty of able bodied people around the club who can assist Nick, whilst I am away. Just looked at todays results, pity we did not win at Wakefield, but at least we did not lose, still second, and a point away from home is better than none at all !! Best wishes, Peter.

Many thanks, Graham, it is difficult not to be able to get down to the ground, just have to be patient, which I do not have a lot of !! Just to keep you all informed, there is some very cold weather on it's way from the east !! below average temperatures, hail showers, frost/snow, to keep Nick happy during the next few weeks !! could be worse than last years November /December and continuing into January !! good job we are up to date with our fixtures.

Just returned from the ground after a quick visit, and I have to say the pitch looked in excellent condition, for this time of the year, well done Nick !! superb job !! many thanks.
Very good result last night, another three points to take us back to the top !! well done Tommy and the team, opening up a nice gap now, between third placed Woodley, let's keep it like that !!
I believe Ian was "Smashed" last night !! his missing lens has been found on the beach at Rock Ferry, still won't keep him quiet though, a die hard supporter !! I will have to do a Cartoon of this incident, hope you are ok Ian !!

The weather today has been perfect, for Nick to prepare a top quality surface for tomorrow's home game v. Ossett Town, well done Nick !! many thanks, also to Billy, for installing the latest Advertising boards, don't know what we would do without this extra help.
Looking forward to the game tomorrow, I have missed the last three, so another three points will do just fine !! cannot do without my "Footy Fix" better than Co-dydramol !! (well I think so, only if we win) !!

Pitch in good condition, just a bit soft in places, for tonight's home fixture V. Witton Albion, should be a good attendance, to watch two "in form" teams. Thanks to Nick & Billy, for the work put in today, much appreciated.
